Bummer! - Thanks Aquatic....
I know male are sterile but i hoped i can pair the possible female from those parrots or a red texas (will post image soon) with my flowerhorn just for the sake of having a pair. no intentions to breed
When I buy unsexd bp and want a female I look for very little or no protrusion in the ventral area. Males stick out a little full time and females only start showing when breeding mode hits. Usually works for me. Hope im wrong though, good luck!

You Sir have an eye of a hawk! I though that is part of the fin where it starts growing, and all the time hoped the yellow one is female since his fin is not so pointy as the orange one. Once again Tank you. soon i will post my texas cichlids and hope at least one of them is female.
