What size sponge filter for 100G

I have a 100G which is only going to house my Clown Knife to heal his battle scares up... thanks i was looking at hydro 5 rated for 125 but i notice its all about the air pump can be.

you could put a powerhead on those. It works really well.

So powerhead over airpump? never seen it done before. so what better if i was to stick with airpump? Faster air or a slow rate?

I always ran mine as fast as possible while still having space between the bubbles. You could use an airstone on Hydrosponges, although i never have.

powerhead on a sponge filter.. small version... thats my 25gallon shrimp tank..
obviously you can get bigger sponge filters and bigger powerheads..
a powerhead on a block of sponge media also works well..

not bad... i guess i can take off the upriser then, I did the same but just slid it over the upriser pipe. Seems to be workin fine.. just have to test if its pulling or just pushing water...

When using sponges, I like to at least double the sponge based on the tank. On my 55s, I used two 80G Sponge filters. On a 100, I would use two 125G sponge filters.
