What size tarpon can i get away with in my pool pond.

1000 gallon pool pond with three snook wondering if i should get a tarpon to put in with it. I can get my hands on 30 inch tarpon to over 50 inches. Please let me know your thoughts

A 1000 gallon pool seems a little small for a tarpon, seeing as they get aprox 7-9 feet long and are pretty active swimmers. IDK too much about them, but i personally wouldn't

I was thinking the same maybe 20000 gallons and I still wouldn't do it

there are a lot of other cool fish you could put in a 1000 gallon, what salinity is your tank, is it freshwater or brakish?

If it is fresh water, look into an indo tarpon. Very cool fish.

Like the idea smaller tarpon might be a better option for me
