what the hell is a rose queen flowerhorn

I have never heard of this fish being referred to as a rose queen FH. Usually they are sold simply as a purple rose queens but yeah, they are a type of a flowerhorn with a lot of synsipilum thrown in or something... Bottom line is: don't expect any kok, on the flip side they should stay a nice shade of rich pinkish-orange just like a blood parrot.

well lets see. i did know it was a type of flowerhorn which are expensive. and i also know that tfd wholesaler had them listed for 65.00 on sale for 35.00 so i called a fish store who normally mark fish up 4 to 5 times what they wholesale at and told him if he ordered it for me id give him twice wholesale cost. so hed did that for me and thats how i know the fish was worth it. i also knew what they looked like but i didnt know what mix was in it or what a kok was. so thats why i paid 70.00 for it. but thx for the explanation on synipilumTaz2478;1058199; said:

haha jk man... it's a hybrid. go post pictures in the hybrid section of the forum and i think you'll find a lot more people who are knowledgeable on it.
Well if you're not going to post a pic of yours then I will post a couple pics of mine 
. He is about a year and a half old and around 10".... and mean as hell (must be the hybrid vigor)....
