What time and how often do you feed your bichirs

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to know how often and when everyone is feeding their bichirs. I'm currently doing every morning 11 am massivores, and my lap is usually a bit slow to the food. I'm thinking of doing 5pm instead and every other day since I know a lot of notable members have told me that every other day is what they do.

btw my wc lapradei is 12-13 in so def not a juvenile fish!

I feed after dark, they’re more active at night and gives them a better chance to get food before the Oscars eat it all. Once a day, 5 days a week skipping Saturday/Wednesday works for me.

I feed every other day.

pretty much what the others are saying - not really any competition for food in that tank so - little bits via auto feeder am/pm -

pm pellets or tilapia 5 out of 7 days

Thanks for the reply guys. I started feeding at night today and my lap took the pellets way better than in the morning. Also at night my angelfish and Datnoid aren't really active so the pellets are all there for her to consume. I think I'll try feeding every day after lights out!
