When to separate 2 Fahaka Puffers?

I bought a pair of Fahaka Puffers and have both in a 125. How soon do I need to move out one of them? At what age or size do I need to worry about aggression? Thank you.

Get them separate tanks they will most likely kill eachother if they can

There is no one size fits all for this question since each puffers personality will differ somewhat from another...

If you are dead set on keeping them together for as long as possible, then you’ll need to keep a very close eye on them and have a separate tank setup ahead of time for when things go south...

With that said though, if you are going to go through the effort of setting up a 2nd tank ahead of time, it’s probably better to just separate them once the 2nd tank is cycled...
