Hey guys,
Been round quite a few stores, went to wildwoods also but could not find any larger pieces of bogwood.
So far I have found one that I kind of like but it is only l30xh21xw18...
My tank is a 6.5x2.5x2.5 and I want a piece that is Atleast 38 or so length...
Anyone know a good shop for bogwood around se uk ?

Thanks

Go collect your own! I have never bought wood and never will!

Depends on many factors:

Softwood (most evergreens) contain toxins which can be dangerous, so always go for hardwood. e.g Oak, Beech, Birch.
If the wood is collected from somewhere chemicals are likely present AVOID! a nice stream or lake is better to take from.
There are many different treatment methods, I always ensure their is no bark on the wood then I jetwash it. Pour boiling water over it, and let it soak in the water - usually in the bath. Then leave it to soak for a few more days, use the boiling water again and then weigh it down in the tank.

I have had many different pieces of wood in my tank with no ill effect or even staining.

Provided you do the above it should be fine.

Where are you in the UK?
I have the added benefit of living in the lake district, so there is wood everywhere!

Outskirts of London... so the only thing I can think of at the top of my head is thames?
But that is so dirty its unreal :P

Not sure if there are any lakes or rivers around...
