I was just wondering where i could find a place on the internet where i can order a saltwater stonefish since my Lfs wont order me one. Ive been looking everywhere and cant seem to have any luck so could someone please help me out??

I think www.divertom.com has them, however shipping is not to your door and the site sometimes doesn't work. However prices dirt cheap and many people say great service!

You have to love a phrase like "true stonefish". What makes something "true" with a common name. That could mean literally anything.
You can suggest fish for divers den...and then sign up for the email so that if they actually get in what you request you can see that they will be adding it before it goes online. You can be prepared to put it in the cart and check out that way.

Synanceia verrucosa and many other synanceia's are illegal in the aquarium trade. These are the only fish that are called and referenced as stone fish in actual published documents.
If your looking for something to resemble a stone fish you can get close. But nothing ever can compare to a pissed off rock at the bottom of the tank. Knowing it is one of the most toxic fish in the world is always cool too. I had a pair and they where great.
