Bought some wcmm , 4 of them, looks like 2 males, 2 females.and two rosy barbs too. Had them roughly 2 weeks in a planted setup. Then had some cherry shrimp that i put in with them. After putting the shrimp in, i noticed a baby swimming about, looks like a neon tetra, bright blue. i took the barbs out, incase they eat the baby, Got home tuday and found 2 more babys.
The bigger baby is around 3-4mm and the 2 smaller are less than half. Was wondering if there wcmm or something else, that caught a hitchhike with the shrimp !!!!!
The 1st 2 pictures are the bigger baby, the last pic is 1 of the smaller babies,
Pictures taken on iphone 4s 😜😝😛😍😘

I have bred White Clouds before by accident. They are egg scatterers. Indoors, they breed in the winter best as they like the slightly colder water. If you heater breaks and you have white clouds you will often get a bunch lay and hatch in just a few days. Sometimes they even breed in warm water. They actually get more colorful in cold water. The fry do need really tiny live foods to thrive. Live newly hatched BBS are often too big as first foods. Vinegar Eels will keep the babies alive long enough to grow enough to eat BBS, then they will grow really fast until they can eat crushed flake.

I currently have a trio of lucistic WCMMs. They lay eggs every three days. Right now none are hatching because my quad of Venezuelan Red Corys eat the eggs.

I have some white clouds as well. great looking fish. Mine just bred not too long ago. You can barely see the fry.

Not a great picture, but here are the lucistic WCMMs.

I have not seen them with that blue line on them before. It does look like a neon doesn't it? You will know when it grows a bit more. If it's a white cloud it's tail will get red...

LOL, never notice the question mark. Not sure to be 100% They are too small for me to tell.

AFAIK, they used to be called "Poor mans neon" because of the blue line they have as babies. :)

So, OP they are White Clouds ;)
