White/silver saum rivulatus fanatic "green terror"

I have always like the rivulatus (aka false green terror) since young. When I discovered there was a white/silver saum version in the mid 1990s I was thrilled. I was fortunate to get hold of a 12 inch specimen (no kidding!) from an LFS in Indiana! He was gorgeous! A friend also gave me a 5 inch male, which mated with my 4 inch female gold saum. 2 years later after I returned to Singapore, I finally found a white/silver saum 10 inch, and was overjoyed.

So I have finally returned to keeping cichlids after all these years. I realise that it is now ever more difficult to find the white/silver saums.

Recently, I acquired a few pieces, which I consider to be pretty quality fishes. So, I'd like to take this opportunity to share them here. cheers

Thanks guys.

Nope. The true green terror is andinoacara stalsbergi. The gold n silver saum are conveniently called green terror although they are a different fish : andinoacara rivulatus.

So these won't have the orange markings? They look nice I really like them. I used to own a huge monster Green Terror many years ago. He was very docile though maybe because I had very aggressive CA cichlids in there as well mainly amph species.

Those with orange/gold fins n tail are also andinoacara rivulatus gold saum. What I posted are the white/silver saums. The key difference is the color.

Andinoacara rivulatus is the true green terror despite the fact most people(myself included until recently) believed it to be andinoacara stalsbergi.
Rivulatus was the first fish imported under the name green terror although at that time it had a different scientific name.Andinoacara aequinoctalis.
