Hi everyone. I noticed the other day my Angelfish tank getting some kind of white stuff buildup on the inside of the glass. My other tank's don't have it.
I don't recall ever seeing calcium or mineral deposits forming entirely underwater; that's more of a thing at the water line when the stuff is deposited as the water evaporates.
I'm guessing that it is indeed some kind of biofilm; that's a pretty broad, catch-all phrase that includes any combination of microscopic life forms growing on submersed surfaces and objects. Weird how it's concentrated in that spot.
