Throwing around the idea of getting a bigger tank. I was wondering if anyone personally has a glass aquarium larger than 600 gallons? Questions I have are:

Did you have to custom build it on site?

Is it standard pane or did you go low iron?

Who made it?

Other than obvious weight differences between glass and acrylic are there any other issues you have?

Can you post pictures of your aquarium, 600 gallons or larger. Please only post manufactured and not one off custom onsite work, such as you made it or someone came out to manufacture onsite.

Thank you

Albertan has a solid glass of just over 1000 gallons.

That is the biggest all glass that comes to mind. Usually, anything larger is plywood, concrete, fiberglass, or acrylic.

I’ve got an all glass 10x3x3 and and all glass 10foot x40inch x 2 foot I’ve moved both from place to place and I just transport on the stand Both times only took 4 blokes to lift the 10x3x3 is all 15mm glass and the other is 12mm sides and 15mm base most tanks in Australia are glass acrylic is insanely expensive. There no were near as daunting to move as you would think 97D34872-7490-4AE4-86F9-4C699D4EF252.jpegC034066A-F4FA-4725-A1B6-0ED110039EAE.jpeg33F13F1A-2CF4-40EF-ACD9-6E7D761D60A4.jpeg

Oh great not another 36 page thread I have to read 10 minutes before bed. Guess I won’t be going into work tomorrow. Lol.
