Joey King of DYI, was the first aquarium related YouTuber to reach 1,000,000 subscribers, quite a milestone love/hate him. He currently has about 1.2 million subs. Paul Cuffaro, who is much younger and started quite a bit later, has now skyrocketed to 1.1 millions subs (even if quite a few more experienced fish keepers think he's kind of a joke and bad influence on naive young kids).
By contrast Cory from Aquarium Co-Op, while also growing at a pretty fast clip, just hit a 'mere' 300,000 subs -- despite very arguably knowing more about proper fish keeping than the other 2 put together (not that I love everything about his style either) -- which imho just goes to show how important looks/appearance usually are to 'super' YouTube success (of course we can see the same with female YouTubers as well).
Anyway I'm not making this post to turn any YouTuber into a punching bag (we know where that will lead lol) -- at that level it's really a lot of work/time/energy pumping out videos, and they all have their good and bad points -- I'm mostly wondering who do you think will come out as the YouTube aqua champ?
Also feel free to mention your favorite fish keeping-related channel even if they're not currently at the top (Ben Ochart, Predatory Fins and Prime Time Aquatics are 3 that I often watch, as well as DebTim a Canadian Girl, she's such a sweet lady).
