As i am a fisher(wo)man, here are some picts of local fishs.
I released them after the picture. I use to have a wolf fish (20 cm) in a 400 liters tank.
Now i am planning to have a 15 kg aimara in 10m² tank. this tank is already build, i just have to think about the better filter for it.

Little aimara i caught 2 weeks ago

Another one

Black piranhia...

We also have oscars, electric eels, lungfishs, knive fishs... So many interesting species!!!

I am building a breeding place for Europe export actually... I will bred wild fish and sell F1, i don't want to export wild fishs.
We don't have dorado in french Guiana, but there are some in Brasil.
The first aimara is about 10 kilos, but they are many fish here which are more than 15 kg. Your tanks will be too small i guess
