This is my wild f1 Spotted gar (Lepisosteus oculatus, usually called as TSG) from WC parents.

Both of her parents are from Trinity river.

One of my friend who breed this fish gave her to me as present when she was size of my thumb, around 3 years ago.

Now she grow very well and still growing. (Now around 55cm)

Some of her sisters and brothers i had are sent to my friend who breed her for next generation.

Wow your gar is just stunning. Never seen a spotted gar with such a luxurious spotting pattern before. Great find honestly. Let me know if your ever looking for some shortnose gar lol we've got plenty of wild ones around here and can usually catch them anywhere between 1-3 foot long.

I can try but no promises. I don't know of any sites that sell them at all. I'll atleast take a look around and see what I can find.

Might be illegal to send certain species out of the USA.

Be careful that your not breaking any laws. I know in my state of wisconsin, you cannot take gar out of the water.

If you purchase gar from an LFS you always need to have the receipt on file.

Yeah I'll definitely have to look into the legality of it. As far as I know it should be fine in my state since they aren't considered game fish but I'll have to refresh on that just to be safe.
