These big micans (any micans, really) are extremely rare in the US. A super showy and colorful silver $/pacu like species that grows large enough to hang with adult Cichla and rays (heck, at current 9-10" size - they can already to that!).
I don't think I've ever seen this southern species of 'red fin barracuda' in the trade before. And great news - they are already nailing krill/shrimp and chopped smelt.
Nicely sized juvenile orinos that learn very quickly how to beg for their frozen and freeze dried food!

These big micans (any micans, really) are extremely rare in the US. A super showy and colorful silver $/pacu like species that grows large enough to hang with adult Cichla and rays (heck, at current 9-10" size - they can already to that!).
I don't think I've ever seen this southern species of 'red fin barracuda' in the trade before. And great news - they are already nailing krill/shrimp and chopped smelt.
Nicely sized juvenile orinos that learn very quickly how to beg for their frozen and freeze dried food!
