Looks like a mala. If it's from the lfs then >90% are malabaricus. The proper way is to look jaw shots from under or below. Will get up to 20 inches when full grown. How big is it?

it's about 10inches
Now it's grown about 2inches in 4 months I have it in a150 gallon with a green terror and 3 Oscar's and a bunch of convicts they had taken over my tank till he moved in he ate about half of them now he has calmed down And left about 10 or so here's a pic of the tank.

Looks mala with that pic. Watch your water as quality may become a problem as these fish get big. As well look out for aggression between the fish, sometimes cichlids and wolves don't mix too well.

it's thought that also but they don't bother each other the only fish in the tank that messes with the Oscar's is the green terror but I think it's trying to mate with them mostly all my fish in my tanks eat worms goldfish and Rosie's and super worms on a rotation weekly anything else I can do to make them grow faster?

I have a 110 aqua clear and a 55 gallon marineland canister filter on the 150gallon fish tank and a pond pump on the bottom of the tank pushing water from the bottom to the top do u think the 150 will be big enough for the mala and the Oscar's full grown

Would just give some type of pellet. Massivore, carnisticks, and cut up tilapia. Once it hits 12in then should slow down, growth wise.

Would cut out goldfish and Rosie's. Mainly cause they carry disease and has been assoc with thiaminase. Unless you grow ur own feeders and deem them safe or/and adding vitamins to the feeders in some manner.
