So, i've heard that snakeheads are pretty tasty fish. I have a few friends that are keen to eat my guy when he capsizes! I don't like the idea of eating my pets. It just feels wrong to me! But they say it's a waste to bury him. This just mad me think, how many people out there would eat their fish when they pass away?

my friends just had the same notion when they came over and saw my 10 inch albino Tiger Oscar...i was like..Stay AWAY!!!
That would just be wrong. Also it's not safe to eat an animal that has been treated with any medications and it would also be unsafe to eat a fish that has died of unknown causes. You also never know what parasites and such they are carrying.
It wont be the same or as tasty...Aquarium fish doesnt taste that good compared to farm bred or wild caught...
i'll keep that in mind next time my friends start planning a fish barbecue.
