I live and Texas and am dying to keep rays and the only ray that is legal here is the Atlantic Stingray unless I go saltwater. I know that some people are offering these rays for sale, but I'm thinking that these specimens have merely been recently acclimated to freshwater. If I was to purchase one, it would have to be one from the group that actually lives in the st. johns river due to the fact that the glands and urea output are actually different than those of their saltwater brethren (Less). If anybody can help me with this I would be greatly appreciative. Otherwise I will have to figure something out when I'm in Winter Park in a few months.
Thanks
