Hey guys I'm getting a box of 8 zebrina soon ( probably going to only keep one a resell the rest) and I need some info on them

1. What's the growth rate of this species
2. Can they live in a 5x2x2 with a oscar and a endlicheri Bichir
3.how much should I sell a 16 to 18 cm zebrina for
4. Are they aggressive in pairs

Thanks in advance for the help.

Not sure

Should be fine just add some spots for the bichir to hide due to the fact they don't like like bodied fish

Between $100-170 is reasonable
Are they aggressive in pairs
At times yes. I would honestly try solo due to the tank size you have.

The tank is a bit small for those fish. If you can step up to a 180, you’ll be much better off.

I’d grow them Out and allow them to pair. They grow at an average rate and should pair off as they reach maturity. Pair bonds are generally stable and once they bond, they’ll try to kill the rest. In a five foot aquarium, death is guaranteed. You can resell an adult for 250-350 on the secondary market.

In that case I might just do one zebrina in the 5x2x2 then

Would a 5x2x2 be sufficient for 1 oscar 1 zebrina 1 endlicheri bichir and maybe some dithers

They are territorial in pairs and will likely own the tank. I would keep the pair of Zebrina and put a smaller more peaceful cichlid above them like Festivums or large wild angels. You can do the Oscar but they’re messy and your tank water quality will suffer for it. I wouldn’t get another bottom dweller like the Bichir in that tank.

I plan on having 2 tidal 110s and a fx6 to keep up with the bioload. I will try put the bichir if it does not work I will rehome it.

I had a lovely zebrina a very chunky and powerful 13" . It lived well in my large predator community with no issues until I added an asian aro that I paid a lot of cash for . The two just hated each other so the zebrina had to go.
I've had large atabapo before which were more aggressive I think tank mate wise its a case of suck it and see, mine was with two large oscars, rays , catfish, dats etc it was only the aro that it had the problem with but I would imagine another tank different tank mates different personalities that could change
