It's a small price for Hikari to pay compared to hiring photographers, and they get more variety. People jump on stuff they think is free.

a nice gimmick for them- some people don't read the very fine print indeed.

I'm not going to be submitting anything as I won't get any credit for it (yes I'm rephrasing it for everybody else) per the rules even if I don't win my photo still will and probably will be used.
