I'm setting up a 120 (4x2x2) that will house 2 Senegalis along with a handful of medium sized cichlids and catfish.
What kind of water turnover do these Bichirs appreciate the most? My return pump is a bit overkill, a 3700gph Jebao, which at its lowest setting is around 1000gph.
At this setting the water flow in the tank is fine, it's really not swift. At full tilt, it's pretty ridiculous but will make for a nice tank sweep up once in a while lol.
The Senegalis are the only fish I've never kept before. They are currently in quarantine while the new 120 cycles, it was set up a couple days ago.
