Here's a great place to build a guide to the increasing number of betta morphs from around the globe.

I'll start the thread off with a pic from an old aquabid sale since I don't presently own a betta.

A simply stunning Dragon Fancy Orange Halfmoon Plakat:

Folks, let's keep this thread neat and tidy. Do not post without a pic and ID. Do not quote an entire post into your post. If you're interested in finding a species portrayed in this thread, PM the posting member for inquiries on how to obtain the variant/species you're interested in.
Non-pic/non-descriptive posts will be flushed.

Thanks for this thread.

Solid Red Half Moon Plakat. Males are flaring at each other through the divider glass.

These short finned betta are much more active compared to the regular long fin/veil tail betta. Feeding wise, they're slightly more fussy IMHO. Mine (juveniles) are currently going only for micro pellets and shrimp that are powdered and fed to them. Regular betta pellets are completely ignored.

Cheers,

Karthik
