800 gallon pool pond /best filter? Best heater?

I am setting up a pool pond in my garage for my arowana and peacock bass. I am not sure what route to take on a filter either make one or purchase one but I am not sure what pumps and heaters will be most durable in this type of setup especially since it will be a pool I was thinking a inline heater. If anyone has in site or recommendations that would be great.

I am planning on a 1500 gallon plywood tank in my basement. Researched like crazy, this seems to be the best. I talked to Derek at Play It Koi.com they sell filters, pumps, everything and he is super knowledgeable. Hope this helps!
