Am bringing home a new to me AUL next week. 30cm
Plan is to introduce the AUL to an established cohab tank. Current tankmates are peaceful. Hiding spaces/cover provided.
Have seen the tail fin of an AUL badly damaged, but also witnessed the ability of it to recover.
How about pectoral and ventral fins (if that's the correct term for this species)?
The LFS shop owner warned that they do not. Interestingly, there is a lot of information online regarding anatomy of the AUL.
Have watched just about every video available on youtube. Some show AUL's with stubby squared off fins. No mention of cause, prevention, or recovery.
Hoping people in the know can chime in. Thank you!
