Could it be a tig transitioning from a stripeless baby into a vaguely striped juvi?

Is the fish calm?

Capa/fila? I raised a tigrinus from 1.5" and it didn't look like that, stripes were quite prominent when young, that could have been just mine though not saying theyRe all like that.

Given how dark the fins are, I'd agree with ultimatejay.

Body and fin proportions also match juruense in my crude eye.

The body coloration looks pretty odd, yet it is not a decisive factor.
