How sweet it is! Real Orinoco altum angels looking, behaving, and feeding extremely well!
These fish are 1.5-2" body size (approximately a md sized angel) @ 35 each or 6 lots+ @ 30 each.

IMG_6082.JPG

The same goes for juvenile 'panda Uaru'! Here is one sucking down a frozen bloodworm treat.
Only limited quantity of these still on hand. They are 2" @ 75 each

IMG_6134.JPG

A highly requested/much sought after western Colombian rarity, the ornatum cichlid is available at 3"+/- size @ 100 each.

IMG_6151.JPG

How about this great size on red Atabapo ll pikes?! These are 8-9" @ 40 each.

IMG_6070.jpg

severus.jpg

Now that's a severum! In stock now are wild mouth brooding severums from the Orinoco drainages. That's right, you read correctly. This is the originally described Heros severus and it's a delayed mouth brooding species.
The upper photo is of md size and the lower photo is of a large adult. Fish from each size are available; the 3.5-4.5" size are 25.00 each or 4 lots+ @ 22.00 each.
The large adults are 5-7” are 40.00 or 4 lots+ @ 35.00 each.
By the way, I also have F1 juveniles of this uncommonly offered severum of 1.5-2" size @ 12.50 each.

cory3.jpg

IMG_6049.JPG

IMG_6090.JPG

The 'other chocolate' or less rarely encountered 'Orinoco chocolate cichlid', H. coryphaenoides, may be that special uncommon South American cichlid for low-md aggression community tanks. these are 3-3.5" size @ 35 each.

The photos lend themselves well for a segue to include the wild Rio Magdalena umbies. These were received in limited quantity only at 3-3.5" size @ 40 each.

IMG_6083.JPG

At the complete opposite end of the cichlid spectrum, there is the small growing, brightly colored Orinoco ram of 1.5" @ 7.5 each.

daemon1.jpg

jurup.jpg

Two very impressive Colombian earth eaters are among the recent arrivals (not withstanding the fact that Geo. winemilleri and Geo. abalios, both of Colombian origin, are already in stock from previous imports).
Satanoperca daemon are 3"+/- @ 20 each, S. jurupari are 2.5-3" @ 8.50 each or 6 lots+ @ 7.50 each. There is also a larger sized S. jurupari available of 3.5-4" @ 12.50 each.

psit.jpg

psitt7.jpg

psitt65.jpg

Last (and hardly least by any account) cichlid among this most recent import is the Orinoco 'green parrot cichlid', Hoplarchus psittacus. These beauties are 7-7.5" @ 75 each.
I also have F1 juveniles of 2-2.5" @ 18 each on hand already.

It's ok to be tangled up in more than cichlids!

IMG_6031.JPG

picta1.jpg

Oh yeah! Check out these gobies! At literally 10-12" size, these awesome 'marbled/bicolor/chameleon' gobies are 125 each.
It's tough to call them any one flavor as they can and do change pattern (mood dependent) quite drastically.

IMG_6093.JPG

I remember when my arowana looked like these! It's really a stretch to imagine, but that's just one of the joys to keeping fish that will convince you that you have a shrinking tank!
These chunky, pellet eating silver arowana are 5-6" @ 75 each.

mety.argent.jpg

A highly polished, unblemished silver sided silver dollar with red anal fin. These are very sharp in a school.
At 2" size, they are 10 each or 6 lot+ @ 8.50.

IMG_6073.JPG

Great red hooks of 3"+/- @ 20 each

latic.jpg

Ah, here is a truly stunning 'flagtail Prochilodus'! The Orinoco flagtails are likely the most boldly striped and reddest finned of the flagtail complex.
These beauties are 2.5-3" @ 20 each or 4 lot+ @ 17.50 each.

As promised, here is what's cooking with immediately available on hand stock:
