Hey all, I have a lighting question. I have a fluval flex 32.5 with one fluval aquasky light. It has the capacity for another light. I'm going to grow mostly low to medium plants. Low tech. The lid profile on the tank is really low profile. Even if I drop the water level down the light is only an inch to two inches max. So I love floaters. Every time I add floating plants to my tank it doesn't go well because all though the light covers the bottom of the tank well it is concentrated at the surface and my floaters drift to areas where there is no surface light. Either infant of or behind the lid. I don't want to waste money trying a bunch of different things. I could try the lid risers. I could by an additional aquasky light strip. I could run somthing different along side the aquasky. Or I could pull the lid off completely and get another light.
What are your favorite low tech plant lights. If any one has a flex with the same issues I'd love to hear about it
