My favorite lfs has some of these in stock, and I was wondering if anybody kept these before. Are they really that lethargic?

If its the same as the humpback puffer I had one. Lovely looking thing and they are an ambush predator. Static until feeding time when they become alive. If I had loads of spare tanks I would have one again but it is a pretty dull tank

They're very quaint little fellows; prone to sitting around like little humps of dirt, but with interestingly active eyes; one I had would sometimes bumble around and lopsidedly totter up to the front of the tank if it thought I had food. They seem much more active when little, in my opinion. Supposedly not difficult to spawn and not hyperaggressive amongst one another, though still prone to murder sprees.
Do agree that they aren't exactly the most fun fish, though.

I already have one worker, so I’m probably not gonna get another one. Been kind of looking at the more active puffers because I really enjoy my avocado puffers.

Lurker, not worker.
