I have 2 , 1 coming from the rayman... i would recommend a 75 g with strong filtration for a juvy frt... you can mix it with fish but make sure those fish are expendable.... no prize collection with an frt or youll set yourself up for a heartbreak.
I feed mine kaytee turtle pellets and hikari sinking wafer.. used to feed it fruts but its just too damn messy and besides, the frt is almost 5 inches and ok to be fed high protein food.


I will have to setup a small pond if and when the frt reaches its adult size.. that would take 2-3 years though so i have some time. Like Neo said, they are easy to keep.. just make sure to change the water at least once every 2 weeks or more ( depending on the bioload)

Why wouldn't you use DeChlor anyway?

I always have for all my turtles whether they be kept inside or outside.
