Gar Trouble

So I lost one of two longnose gar three weeks ago and I’ve only seen my other one eat once since then. They have been on frozen foods but I tried getting feeders cause I was sure that would get him hungry but he didn’t care. I’m beginning to get worried but I see other posts saying gar can go months without eating, should I be concerned?

Parameters are fine no ammonia or nitrites 20-30 ppm nitrate

Not sure on gh but I have crushed coral for kh and ph is around 7.5
