Getting shocked

Just checked all equipment.....im guessing this is my problem?.....the surge protectors ground prong is missing......idk how this could of happend.....i could of swore it had all 3 prongs when i installed it

This had to be the problem

Whoa that's messed up, is the rest of it in the outlet or simply unaccounted for?
Its not in the outlet....i made sure to check...i believe it must of came out before i installed it....not sure how this got by me in the first place

I have a volt meter and 2 GFCI outlet adapters on the way from amazon for wxtra precaution

I really hope is was the reason i got shocked

I put gfci outlets on all my tanks a year or so ago. Saved my bacon when we had that earthquake a while back. Hopefully replacing that power strip will resolve the issue.
