Welcome to the poly club! Looking forward to seeing your collection grow!

To me, looks like a captive bred endli. not a wild caught.
Thanks man! Can only look at ur poly piles so many times before u need to start one ??

Entered “the mix” fairly well so far ?… little endli def. needs some friends. Safety in numbers ??… He enjoys the lack of lighting on the tanks ends. Ornate is loving life already, very bold and cruising every inch of the 10’ tank top and bottom. I’ll have to work a bit to get them eating around everyone. Hoping they come around quick for me. Its a bit hectic during feeding.

New batch in today… 1 is w/c… they all have a bit of redness at the connection of their front fins. Bit of redness on their back and tail fins also. I think its safe to say i should quarantine them first. What meds do u guys like to use as “general measure” when getting in new or w/c polys. Thanks for any advice/tips ??

Bit better pic of the front fins that worry me… just ammonia burn from being bagged for 24hrs or cause for treatment?

Probably water. Clean water and let it eat. Should recover.

I Qt’d em all just to be safe… hard to make out in the pics, pretty red and “slimy” at the fin attachment of the lap. No decent meds available locally but i picked up some enthromycin while i wait for an order. Have nitrofurazone and kanaplex coming for my ornate so ill hit em all for a “cleansing” ??‍♂ Lol… was just curious what everyone may be using for their w/c fish as “pre caution”… i know these guys are known for comin in “dirty”…

For polys I can only speak for myself and what’s been advised. No meds. Consider some prazipro with repeat treatment for bichir worms. Otherwise no other meds needed. It can change if it gets sick later.
