One of the more interesting fish i researched.

"The Leopard gourami possesses a labyrinth organ, which allows it to absorb oxygen from atmospheric air."

"The leopard bush fish is most active during the night time and at day it usually hides among the thick underwater vegetation."

I'm aware that Ctenopoma are labyrinth fish but I don't recall seeing them referred to as gourami before..

Okay, "climbing gourami" a kind of a common name.....anyhow,I have kept C. acutirostre on a few different occasions and they have rarely observed them hiding among plants but rather almost constantly patrolling around the tank.

Don’t have my trio in planted tank, mine are in a tank with catfish so lots of rock work, bog wood and caves where they tend to spend most of the day in the shade stalking around on the lookout.
