I like it! Those dimensions are pretty much what i imagined would be good for a school of RPB (without any experience). I was thinking 48x24x24, so the +2" is a bonus :p

It's a nice big chunky tank. I had an almost identical one a few years ago (also with Piranha), but it was very brightly lit and sparsely aquascaped. The Piranha didn't seem to mind though, I guess they got used to it.

This time around I've tried to create a more natural-looking environment, with a much better lighting system (V2 iLumenAir 600 - a marine lighting rig). The results are astonishing. Here's a couple of vids of both tanks for comparison:

Looks good! Love the wood and dimmer lighting. I agree, nicer :)
