Whoa dude. Mine are so skittish and shy they are nothing like my other pikes I'm hoping they will come around as they develop. I'm feeding live ghost shrimp and small comets hoping to get their appetite up. They won't touch thawed silver sides blood worms or market shrimp. Very rarely they will take a market shrimp. I'm jealous of yours how big are they?

Nice fish!~!! I've had mine for a couple of months now and they are finally coming out of their caves...
they are starting to taste pellet food because I have cichlids on the other side of the divider and they see the cichlids eating pellets so they are trying also.....
I have been feeding them krill and frozen silver sides, every 2 or 3 days for the last couple of
months but now I am going to feed less krill and more pellets.....
you need allot of patience with pikes.....have fun'''''''

Thanks Jeff ! we sure appreciate your posting definitive photos, seeing is everything. I personally prefer a mature 'fired-up' pair of Atabapo One, their darker burgandy/scarlet red rivals Crenicichla tapajos 1 or 2. The 'reddest of the red' probably goes to a mature T1.......
