The puffer, my friend got, has a parassite lodge on his back. How can we remove it? Are the other fish introulbe? Do we have to isolate the puffer?

did it look like either of these? The skinny one is an anchor worm, they often have two thin egg sack trailing from them, the other is a fish louse. Both can be physically removed by grasping them with forceps and using a firm steady pressure pulling staight away from the fish, do not twist them as this is done or you can leave mouth parts behind to get infected, touching the wound with iodine or hydrogen peroxide after the parasites removal is wise to help prevent bacterial or fungal infection.

Ben... Tell your "friend" to do research first and before buying a fish
and to thoroughly investigate a specimen before buying.

It's funny...my name is Ben and I have a friend who bought some puffers :grinyes: I helped him set up the tank and acclimated his puffers for him.
