2+ years old, feeding 2-3 times per week on mostly tilapia filet but also takes occasionally shrimp, earthworms, smelt and silversides. So you can get a feel for the size and growth rate he/she is 13"-14" in length not including the 5.5"-6" streamer has 7" long barbels/whiskers and is probably 6"+ in girth. I've had the little guy/girl since it was 2.5" long and I picked him up from a importer in December of 2010.

thats bad ass where did you get him at and how much did he cost you and have you ever thought adout adding any other fish to your tank i used to have an albino electric catfish that got to be 10'long

That's awesome I always wanted one but could never find one and for that fish I would go the extra mile and build him an indoor to keep him for life they are a special fish for sure great job with him

Tank looks like its 8' X 3' or 8' X 4' most likely in the 360 gallon to 480 gallon range judging by the size of the fish if its 14 inches

Tank is actually 96"x24"x20" tall I believe it's a 210g. The stand is only 21.5" tall
