Thank you. I’m seeing what I can find for large tanks on FB marketplace and I’m not seeing much beyond 72 or 80 gallon for bowfront.

Looks like it may be a spilo, but a lot of the serras look alike.

The first one looks like a spilo. And spilos and maculatus are not the same thing.

Hey All,

I have kept piranha’s for a while and this particular piranha I’ve had for about 5 months. It’s growing well and all water params are normal. Last night seemingly out of nowhere it started racing around the tank and jumping into the lid. It seems normal this morning though. Has anyone experienced this?

Did this occur after turning on any lights? Did you make any sudden movements? Piranhas can stress very easily, sounds like it got scared by something.
