They aren't that bad. Just underrated because of the reputation that they proliferate as badly as the bladder snails and MTS. I have red ramshorn snails coming and then about 10 species of nerites by next two weeks.
Please excuse my water marks since I can't remove them. Here are some new pics of them eating a rather large pellet.

Assassin depositing an egg in an empty MTS shell. I've informed Sounguru, a friend of mine in AC about this development as he records everything for the assassin snails. See magenta circle at the bottom for an egg laid on the glass near the sand.
Here is a new pic of their eggs. See the dots lining the empty MTS shell and then 7 more at the bottom center and right and another at the bottom left near the cana shell. Some eggs have already hatched.
