Here is the album with pictures of the tank. http://imgur.com/a/XtaCa Dimensions are 8x2x2(l x w x h) total and 7x2x2 usuable. Over flow chamber is 1x2x2

The bulkheads in the over flow box are 1.5 inches and the bulkhead in the other side of the tank is 1 inch.

So far I have a spare 40 breeder to use as sump. I have 500 pot scrubbies on the way to use as biomedia and a 2400gph pondmaster pm24 pump on the way. Ideally I would like to put pot scubbies in the over flow box as a trickle filter. But, the tank will be in my bedroom and I would like to keep it as quiet as possible. Would it be possible to use the area in the over flow chamber as an immersed filter bed?

What I would like help with is how to setup plumbing, the sump, how to make this as quiet as possible, and possible additional equipment that I may need(besides heaters)

Stock: Red eared slider, 1ft sailfin pleco, and maybe a few cichlids larger than the turtle.
