re Naming fish: I understand why people do not name their fish, but I personally love it when mine have names! Sometimes it takes me especially long to figure out a name...by that I mean months. Naming is hard and if they do not have names, at some point my boyfriend or my mom ends up naming them.Which works out because there is a reason why one of my mokes is named "The Moke," aka "Mokey." Originally, I named her "Bassy" short for baselisk ( from Harry Potter),because she has crazy eyes and went on a murder spree. Then I called her Nagini for a while. However, none of those names stuck. She loves watching people outside the tank, is quite territorial, but is best friends with -and will protect- the smallest poly of the group (Pinky...the albino sen). She is a complex creature, yet "THE MOKE" describes her perfectly.

Heavy breathing is a sign of stress so the palmas is chasing when you are not around. Sitting in a corner is what mokes do best. Increasing to 1 more poly will up the bioload due to feeding and poop
Best way to tame aggression is to add more polys imo.
Another way is to add more hiding spots or take them all away.
easiest thing to do is take all the hides away. New poly needs to be about 5”+ so that it doesn’t get eaten… no guarantees on reducing aggression
Alright, Pet Kingdom has 2 6 inch Senegal in quarantine for another few days. I’ll keep the light off for now, which is keeping the Palmas under control.
New addition to the poly posse! A 6” Senegal bichir from pet kingdom. Just got out of quarantining for ich, so I need to keep an eye on him. Looked long and hard at him and his tank mates, didn’t see any ich, but still a little bit worried.
