they will eat tank mates, if they will fit in their mouth:)

I have three in a tank with an albino oscar, Tsn, and three gold belly barbs

The Cichla ocellaris I just gave to my freind use to live with her Green Discus and they never showed any aggression towards them.

My Mono has been real mellow thus far. I had to take my Pike cichlid back a month ago bc he was roughing up my pbass. The pbass would never put up any fight against him even though they were both 4'' or so. Bn the two of them the Pike had to go esp since the pbass was in bad shape from all the agression so the lfs prob would have had a tough time finding a good tank for him where he could recover. The bass is doing great now and the Pike found a new home with some guy who has a more agressive tank. The pbass has never really bothered my leporinus or pictus cat. I hope that he will stay this way as he starts to really grow.
