I have mine in a 65, but shes only 4 inches right now.. I may have to upgrade later... go bigger if possible... They are awesome enough to keep on their own... 75 or 90 is preferred. I can survive in my little apt but would prefer a house... my $.02

ya....if you want them to kill eachother...dont listen to that advice, he has koi, and pacus living in 15 gallon tanks...
you can get away with a 3 foot 50 gallon, they are a 50 breeder or somthing, 36 by 18. but 75 is much better for one fish. a 125 is better if you want 2. i know some people put a pair in a 90, but you must divide it off and really watch them if you want to breed, cause they may kill eachother

my cuzin does it dude. but there's a divider in a 50 he breeds flowerhorns and has his own shop. he puts all those FH's in a 50 with a divider.

let me re-say it sounds kinda wrong lol. he has lots of 50gals with 2 FH's in it and with a divider. :)

for breeding purposes only. a pair could go into 50 gals with a divider.

once the eggs are hatched, the parents should be taken away from the 50 gal.

and the 50 gal should be good for raising the fry's
