thanks CDM for the pictures, where is that? Imagine the feeding bill.

Here are a few of the temesis I got from Colombia, same price, same size, and I mixed them up togehter, and now I have a hard time telling them apart. These are from a private source, they collected me "various" sp. I bought a few of the captive bred ones to mix in there for comparison. I know there has been a big hype on these fish, so this is my contribution to the table. Unfortunately, I don't have any of the captive bred temensis left, maybe someone can bring me a few to put together, so we can see the difference!

then next one is find waldo, the one that doesn't belong, its not that hard, then the real deal. Wild cichla sp. variety mix straight from Colombia! They're gold colored compared to the "bangkok" varieities...
