I'd say FH. Doesn't really look like a pure Trimac if you ask me, and the fact that you don't have proof that it is pure forces you to go about thinking of it as a hybrid.

+1, Looks like a nice trimac to me but since you aren't sure you can refer to it as trimac but cant breed it and sell its fry as pure trimacs, as long as your not breeding though it doesnt really matter, the reason is that a lot of really low grade flowerhorns can look just like trimacs but actually have something else in their bloodline

what did you buy it as and from where?

Trimac for sure, and a nice one at that.
Did you breed this fish or know the breeder? If not, there's no way you can say "For Sure"....while I agree with you it looks Trimac, you're merely guessing.

Not a Trimac. Rule of thumb when trying to determine if a fish is a Trimac or FH is if you question what it is, its most likely a Flowerhorn. This fish, is a low grade flowerhorn.

Also, for the person that said that it was a Trimac "for sure". Theres no possible way to know for sure if its a Trimac.. but a lot easier to spot out a Flowerhorn. IMO, the only way to get a pure trimac is to buy them from reputable sources.
