The LFS called him a "Synodontis melanosticta," but I don't think so. I am pretty sure I know what he really is, but before I say what I think he is, I want to get your opinions.
Ok, thanks. My aquarium stock is constantly changing these days. I no longer have the pacu, the lima shovelnoses, nor the senegal bichir. At the moment, it is just him, the eel, the pleco, and the aro. I have a small section of the tank isolated with a divider, in which I'm growing out two angels, and I'm also growing out a gold severum in another tank, which will also be going into the 225 eventually.you have my frontosa synodontis... haha..very few of them around.. he is awesome.. very good looking and healthy..lots of luck... keep us updated.. who is he with in the tank..
you have a nice collection going.. i will hope for you that your synodontis frontosus has a better personality with others then my guy does.. actually he loves all his tankmates so much..that he would never leave them alone... no matter what tank i put him in he would swim near the other fish and touch them with his body.. hugging them and loving them...to the point that i had to give him his own tank forever.. looking forward to hearing how yours will be with other tankmates.. it did not matter what size fish.. i tried a big oscar and big red devil same way..lolOk, thanks. Yeah I sat and watched him for a while last night (he hasn't started coming out during the day yet), and he was trying to do that to my gibby. I was a little worried that he was going to get hurt (my gibby is really territorial and started lunging at it), but I think he'll be fine though once he gets used to living in my tank.you have a nice collection going.. i will hope for you that your synodontis frontosus has a better personality with others then my guy does.. actually he loves all his tankmates so much..that he would never leave them alone... no matter what tank i put him in he would swim near the other fish and touch them with his body.. hugging them and loving them...to the point that i had to give him his own tank forever.. looking forward to hearing how yours will be with other tankmates.. it did not matter what size fish.. i tried a big oscar and big red devil same way..lol
