birdsnest are an easier to keep sps that can be kept under t5s. I have a purple polyped birdsnest on the sandbed of my 75, being kept under 4 t5s.

Fleshy, that is a nice choice. I love sps, and that one has nice coloration. Will be fun to watch during feeding time

Sadly the colors now after getting it home, and dipping it are now brown. Hopefully by my next video (coming up mid september I am thinking it will be looking good for the camera.)

dipping in a coral dip (ie. lugols or coral rx) is always advised to clear the coral of any unwanted pests.

Thats sucks flesh...but I guess it happens to all corals coming from divers den for a few weeks...also this is random but are mushrooms one of the corals that take's a really long time to open up fully? My aunt/cousin had red mush rooms and blue mushrooms that never opened up fully like seen when we purchased them at an lfs...my cousin had his for now a few months and my aunt 2 weeks...

Can't wait to add a pink birds nest to my tank....still worried about my t5s if the can give it what it needs.. (2actnics/2 regular)

Fleshy you should get this birds nest from Divers

That is an interesting birdsnest...more than likely I will get one of the pink ones with different colored polyps.

We will see if it ever colors up...I am a little disappointed, but it is still a nice piece.

Dont really know about the mushrooms. I have seen them stressin in the past though.

I think your birdsnest will be fine.

Thanks Flesh, I read somewhere probably on mfk...that it take a few weeks to a few months for full coloration to develop after the stress of shippping...I think it says it on live aqauria some where

Yes this is true...more so with sps...but any time you dip, or ship (remember that when I order from divers den, the coral doesnt get shipped, I just go pick it up) it get stressed and can lose coloration.

We are hoping that is just the case.
