All will be agressive espicially depending on the tank size, in a 1000 gallon tank (Toledo zoo) I saw a breeding pair of Dovi in a community tank that kept themselves in a corner with fry but were not crazy aggressive but the tank was 1000 gallons. In a smaller 180 or whatever differant story. Dovi have large teeth so that helps to keep them as the top candidate. You take a fish out of a big lake and put him in a glass box and he will be aggressive because in the wild the other fish just swim away or avoid the agressor.

this could go on forever, the one thing for sure is the DOVII is number 1 by far and would liquidate all others!!!

pound for pound the dempsey would be higher up if he was a bigger fish

Haha.. funny how this goes back and forth. But it seems dovii and umbee are consistently up there.

They are both also potentially the largest fish on the list.

well i guess we have to look at it from a relative perspective. lets say all of these fish are 6inches (because they all reach that length) which are the most aggressive. That is potentially how we should approach the topic.
