That is because I don't get my pictures from google, I have friends email them to me and they are not posted anywhere else on the internet. Makes it nice and difficult when I post a tricky one.

Regardless, Siphlophis compressus was correct as you all already figured out. Would have accepted Tripanurgos compressus as well.

I think he just googled the name and found that the species matched. Not sure though.

Pretty simple to do a reverse image search really. Reverse image searches do their searches on the basis of matching colour. To maintain the integrity of this thread, I don't think I should point out anything else. Nice lizard, though I have no clue what it is.
